What is Murfreesboro Rotary?
Rotary is a worldwide group of business leaders, community leaders and individuals who believe in delivering compassionate service benefitting our fellow humans throughout the world. Rotarians inspire high ethical standards in ALL vocations by living by our ‘Four Way Test’:
The Rotary Club of Murfreesboro is an active body of men and women who meet at the Stones River Country Club each Tuesday at noon to interact and use their combined talents to make a difference in our community, our nation and our world. This may sound lofty but Rotary projects have included everything from giving dictionaries to every third grader in Rutherford County, to sponsoring a river-flow water table at the Discovery Center (Murfreesboro, TN), nurturing education in third world countries, building water treatment facilities in distant countries and being a part of Rotary International’s worldwide efforts to eradicate polio.
Our members represent a cross-section of our community, ranging from attorney generals to bank presidents to preachers to the average everyday Joe.
